Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of Generated, an AI content generation platform operated by AppMaster Inc ("Generated", "we", "us"). By creating an account or paying for a subscription, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
1. What the service is
Generated produces blog articles, cover images, FAQ blocks and calls to action for the projects you configure, and — where you enable hosting — publishes them as static pages on a subdomain you control. The service is sold as monthly subscription plans with defined monthly allowances. There is no free plan and no trial: nothing is generated for your account before a subscription is paid for.
2. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration details. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your credentials secure and for the actions of any team member you give access to. Tell us promptly through the contact form at generated.app/contact if you believe your account has been compromised.
3. Plans, allowances and limits
Each plan grants a fixed monthly allowance, expressed in the same units the plan is sold in:
- Articles: the number of articles that can be generated per billing month. One article is published in every language enabled on your plan; translations are not billed separately.
- Languages: the maximum number of languages a project may publish in, set by your plan.
- Idea batches: runs of the topic engine included per billing month. An extra run consumes one article slot, and only after you confirm it.
- Regenerations: reruns of an FAQ block, a call-to-action set or a cover image on an existing article, including re-translating what was rerun.
- Projects: up to ten per account on every plan, sharing the same monthly allowances.
4. When an allowance runs out
When a counter is exhausted, the corresponding operation is refused until the next billing month or until you move to a higher plan, whichever comes first. We do not sell overage packs or top-ups, and unused allowance does not roll over into the next month. Allowances reset at the start of each billing month.
5. Billing, and no refunds
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly, in US dollars, through our payment processor Stripe. We do not store your card details. Prices exclude any taxes that apply to you. You may cancel at any time in the billing portal; cancellation stops the next charge and your subscription continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not offer refunds or a money-back guarantee for periods already paid, including unused allowance. Where mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction grants you a statutory withdrawal or cancellation right, that right applies regardless of this section. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.
6. Your content, and who owns what
You own the material you supply and the content generated for your projects. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us the licence we need to run the service: to store your content, process it through the generation pipeline and its model providers, build it into static pages, and serve those pages on the domain you attach. We may keep aggregate, non-identifying operational statistics. You are responsible for reviewing content before it is published — generated text can be wrong, and the service does not remove your editorial responsibility for what appears under your brand.
7. Domains and hosting
Hosted blogs are served on a subdomain you own, such as blog.yourcompany.com, which you attach by adding DNS records we specify. You confirm you are entitled to use that domain. We obtain and renew the TLS certificate, serve the built pages from our own infrastructure behind a content delivery network, and rebuild the site when you publish. Apex domains are not supported in this version. We do not place our branding on your site.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Generated to produce or publish content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, impersonates a real person or organisation, promotes malware or fraud, or that you are required by law to label and do not. You may not resell the service as a competing content-generation product, attempt to bypass plan limits, probe or break the isolation between tenants, or use the service in a way that degrades it for others. We may suspend an account that breaches this section, and we will tell you why.
9. What happens when a subscription ends
Your hosted blog serves normally for the whole period you have paid for. Once the subscription ends — through cancellation, or after your payment provider's retries have failed — generation stops and the site stops serving: visitors receive a plain placeholder page rather than an error. Your content is not deleted; it stays in your account, and resubscribing rebuilds and republishes the whole site within minutes. The custom hostname stays allocated for a period after lapse so visitors do not hit certificate errors, and is released if the subscription is not resumed. We do not provide a grace period during which content is generated without payment.
10. Availability and changes to the service
Hosted pages are static files behind a CDN, which is what lets them keep serving when our platform is unavailable. We do not commit to a specific uptime percentage in this version, and there is no service level agreement. We improve and change the service continuously; if we make a change that materially reduces what your plan includes, we will tell you before it takes effect.
11. Third parties we rely on
Running the service involves other providers, including Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for certificates and content delivery, and the AI model providers that generate content. If you configure a Google Analytics measurement ID for a project, we add that tag to your hosted pages; the resulting analytics relationship is between you and Google. Our privacy policy lists the providers that process personal data, and our data processing agreement covers processing carried out on your behalf.
12. Warranties and liability
The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that generated content will be accurate, original in every respect, or that it will achieve any particular search ranking, traffic or commercial result. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data; and our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, for non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, section 9 governs what happens to your content and your hosted site.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing law and disputes
The governing law and the forum for disputes are being finalised with counsel and will be stated here before general availability. Until then, nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights or protections available to you under the law of your place of residence.
16. Contact
